Spiritual Limpias

A limpia is a Spiritual Cleansing ritual.

It cleanses body, emotions, mind and soul from negative energies or thoughts. Traditionally it is used to get rid of blockages. It removes witchcraft, curses and hexes. After a limpia we may feel light, peaceful and happy. It is used also to attract happiness, love, health, abundance, work, etc.

It also has spiritual benefits like improving our communication with the spirit world. A limpia can also be performed as a preparation ritual for a ceremony or a "trabajo" (spiritual work).

There are many types of limpias and there are many different spiritual tools to perform the limpia. Try different ones and see which one works for you. Just to mention a few, you can have a limpia done with plants, crystals, spirit waters, spiritual baths, smudging, incense, candles, eggs, etc.
